Dental Recycling Program - Colgate

Colgate is awarding $1000 plus a custom-made bench to the school in Australia which sends TerraCycle the largest total shipment of oral care waste by 1 November 2017.  Also for each kilo of waste we send, we are given 2 points which can then be redeem for a monetary donation to the school.  

What can be donated?

Any brand of used toothpaste tubes, toothbrushes, plastic toothbrush packaging, interdental brushes, wisps, pumps, stand up toothpaste bottles and any kind of non-electric toothbrush or toothpaste tube and all affiliated non-recyclable packaging.

In order to recycle this waste stream properly, please make sure all excess product has been removed (ie. leftover toothpaste).  Additionally, if you choose to rinse your product, please note that it must be completely dry prior to shipping.  You cannot ship dripping packages.

The School's collection box is located in the front office and is filling rapidly.  It is hoped that we will be able to send our first box for recycling in the near future.
