REGISTRATION

Players can register via the John XXIII Netball Club website under the Information and Registration tab.
Please ensure you answer all of the questions.
To complete the registration process you will need to pay online via credit card. So please have your Visa or MasterCard ready.

COSTS

The cost is:

$235 for Primary School players.
$310 per Secondary player
$220 for Alumni players.
This fee covers all registrations, grading, insurance, umpiring, specialist training, fitness sessions, coaching, windup and equipment costs for the year.
As the Club is run by parent volunteers, there are no other costs passed on to parents.

All grading will be on the school netball hard courts (next to the Year 7 block).

The girls are to wear their school sports uniforms to grading, no jewellery is to be worn.

Players MUST attend all grading sessions. If your child is unable to attend, please advise the Club via email at johnxxiiicnc@gmail.com.

TRAINING

Training is a compulsory and integral part of playing Saturday netball.
A register of training attendance is kept.
All training is on the school netball courts next to the Year 7 block.

Years 7, 8 and 9 training is on Thursday afternoons from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, commencing on Thursday 28 March.

Years 10, 11 and 12 training is on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, commencing on Tuesday 26 March.

PRE-SEASON FITNESS

The Club runs a separate pre-season fitness program targeted specifically at improving the fitness and skills of players.
Interested girls are encouraged to attend.

No need to register - just turn up on the days that you can manage it!

Pre-season fitness is on the oval in front of the netball courts from 7:00am-8:00am, Wednesdays and Friday.

The school canteen is open after morning training sessions to purchase breakfast, if required.

UNIFORMS

The netball uniforms are available for purchase in the John XXIII College Uniform Shop.

NEW - PNA Boys Competition

Perth Netball Association (PNA) would like to notify you of a fantastic opportunity for you to participate in male only netball competitions.

In 2019, PNA will be introducing a pilot season of boy’s only secondary school competitions. We will offer competitions in Years 7/8 and Years 9-12 age groups. It is currently proposed that both competitions will be held on Friday evenings (7:15pm game) at the Matthews' Netball Centre in Jolimont.

This initiative by PNA follows the move by Netball WA to include male divisions in the new Metro League competition from 2020. This will provide a unique opportunity for talented male players to play representative netball for PNA in a high-quality competition against other metropolitan associations.

PNA is excited about the prospect of introducing boys’ competitions and the opportunities available to boys interested in taking up netball.

If you are interested in nominating a boys’ team (minimum of 7 players) in a Years 7/8 or Years 9-12 competition please contact the PNA office 9387 7011 or email at pnacompetition@perthnetball.com.au.

Alternatively, if you are interested in playing, however are unable to source enough players to fill a team. Please email the following details to be placed on a list to join a team.
