“The Magic of Candles”

Year 10 Art Students have been exploring their understanding of Line,  Chiaroscuro (light and shadow) and colour theory. They have produced a variety of excellent oil pastel candle drawings on black paper.

Each student has endeavoured to depict  a flickering candle that exhibits mystery and intrigue.

Year 11 Charcoal Figurative Drawings

Students in year 11 Studio Art have been practicing their  figurative drawings using charcoal and pencil. Students have taken turns modeling and drawing on both white and brown paper. 

The results are impressive, keep up the good work.
