VCE Art Students Inspired by Exhibition

On Tuesday February 15, VCE Art students went to Melbourne CBD to visit two major exhibitions.
On the art excursion, we took a train into the city and went to the Ian Potter Centre. We went to see the Found and Gathered exhibition, starring the artists Lorraine Connelly-Northey and Rosalie Gascoigne. The artworks in the exhibition were made purely out of discarded and found objects.
The artworks were inspiring; most were made from metal and looked soft to touch. It was incredible! We also had the wonderful opportunity to see artworks by the Bark Ladies at the NGV in St Kilda. The amount of detail and precision was amazing!
