The University of Melbourne Hansen Scholarship 2023

Applications for the 2023 University of Melbourne’s Hansen Scholarship will close on Wednesday 9 March 2022. Open to all Year 12 students applying for an undergraduate degree at Melbourne in 2023, the Hansen Scholarship is one of Melbourne’s flagship scholarships and their most generous equity scholarship. Hansen Scholars receive accommodation near the Parkville campus for three years, a yearly allowance for living expenses, as well as a tailored program of enrichment including academic orientation, study skills, mentoring and cultural activities. Opportunity for employment at Splash's Swim School

Splash’s Swim School is again recruiting secondary school students for casual and part time employment as swim teachers and teaching assistants at our centres in Berwick, Dandenong and Pakenham.

 

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, reliable, energetic and work well in a team. Swim teaching is an excellent opportunity for students that are interested in future careers in:

- early childhood, primary or secondary education

- sport or recreation (eg: sports management, outdoor education)

- occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, child protection, social work

- nursing and medicine

or any role that values experience in working with children of all ages and abilities, working in a dynamic environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to problem solve. 

 

Currently, Splash's employs many young people studying at university in courses like:

- forensic science

- exercise physiology

- psychology

- nursing

- midwifery

- education (early childhood, primary and secondary)

- law enforcement

- marketing and PR
