Room 6 Swimming

During Term 1 and Term 2, Room 6 have been going every odd week to Thebarton Aquatic Centre for Swimming lessons. The students have a blast with the instructors, learning a mixture of different skills required to be safe in the water such as swimming styles, floating, diving, how to get help, and of course, to have fun! Here are some of quotes the students in Room 6 wrote to express how they feel about going swimming.

“I hope to use these skills when I go swimming and scuba diving”- Joaquim

“The staff at Thebarton are really kind and helpful. Swimming is good.” -Levi

“Swimming is fun and cool”- Christian

“I like kicking my legs so I can swim” – Brodie

“I really like diving in the pool” – Harvey

“I really like jumping in the pool” - Riz
