Year 3 and 4 Happiness Project
Over the past term in Inquiry, the Year 3 and 4 Learning Community has been learning about wellbeing and what it means to be happy. The learning intention for their unit ‘The Happiness Project’ was that we all have the right to be happy, healthy and safe.
As part of their learning for the unit, the students needed to complete a task about what makes them happy. In the task, they needed to identify:
- What happiness means to them
- What things they do to make themselves happy
- The strategies they use when they feel anxious or stressed
- Conduct some interviews with their classmates to find out about the strategies they use and what makes them happy.
Find out what the students in the Year 3 and 4 Learning Community created below:
The teachers have spent the last few weeks planning for Term 2 Inquiry and the focus for all learning areas. We are in for an exciting term of learning in Term 2 and our Learning Expo will take place so the children will be able to share their work with you in person.
