A note from Heather and Brooke
We have lots of students who are arriving late to school. It is very important that if your child arrives late to school, that you accompany them to the front office to sign a late slip. It is very important that we have them signed in by a carer so that we know that they have arrived to school safely and with reason for being late to be logged onto Compass by Admin.
We received a letter from the RSL to thank everyone for their support in buying badges this year. Our School helped raise a total of $99.10
The money raised will help provide welfare support to ex-servicemen and women in necessitous circumstances, to assist in providing for War veterans and dependants, care of the aged, family welfare and community/aged care visiting.
Thank you to everyone for their support
Dear Parents/Guardians,
To support our Leader in Me Journey our school will be conducting a survey to learn more about key areas of strength and areas of needed growth in our school. The data from this survey will also help us track the impacts of the Leader in Me process and implement key practices more fully. In order for us to have a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, we are asking all staff members, parents/guardians, and students in Grade 4 and up to participate in the survey.
For parents/guardians the survey window is now open and will close on Wednesday 26th of May.
Please use the link below to complete the survey:
https://www.leaderinme.com/s/le-page-primary-school/parent
The parent/guardian survey is anonymous and takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete. You will respond to questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school. If you have more than one child attending the school, you will be asked to think about the oldest child’s experiences as you respond, related to his or her growth. For those parents/guardians who do not have access to a computer, paper surveys will be available at the office. Please note however completing the survey digitally is preferable.
Student Participation
If your child is in Grade 4 or above he or she will be asked to complete a short multiple-choice survey (no identifying information will be requested or collected) that will be confidentially administered by their classroom teacher between Wednesday 19th of May and Wednesday 26th of May. Students will privately answer questions about their attitudes and behaviours on a computer at school. They will be able to skip questions and stop anytime they choose. If your child is in Year 4 or higher and you do not want them to participate in the survey, please contact the office to inform Brooke prior to the survey opening (Wednesday 19th of May).
Kind Regards,
