Dropping off Items to the Front Office

It is College policy that we do not take items such as sport bags, laptops, lunch or other items throughout the school day at the Front Office. Unfortunately, we have had some incidents in the past week with parents trying to drop off items, especially for winter sport trials. If your son forgets his gear for Co-curricular or PDHPE class, he must deal with the consequences. This is the only way he will learn and be more organised for next time.

Kiss and Drop

Please adhere to the Kiss and Drop rules and regulations set out at the start of the year. Thank you to the vast majority of parents who do the correct thing every day. It is unfortunate to see some parents decide that their son needs to be dropped off first or closest to the College gates in the morning.

Kiss and Drop Reminders

  • Students can only get out of the car on the curb side.
  • Bags should NOT be in the boot. If needed they sit on the lap of the student so when they get out it is one quick movement.
  • Cars are not to wait to get to the top of the line for a student to get out. All cars between the two driveways must have their sons disembark quickly, and then the next set of cars move forward.
  • Please do not overtake others. A little bit of patience is often needed.
  • Parents are not to get out of the car.

The core to the smooth running of Kiss and Drop is “treat others as you wish to be treated” – don’t take too long to drop off or pick up, move as far forward as you can, don’t push in and don’t go around when everybody wants to move forward.
