Koorie Champions News

We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of this land on which we work and learn, the Wathaurong people and pay our respects to elders past and present and emerging.

We were fortunate to recieve a grant from The Aboriginal Literacy Foundation for $250.00 which we used to purchase a number of picture story books that will be used by teachers and children to develop a better understanding of the issues faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and people from other cultures.

This week the Koorie Champions and Friends group learnt about the boomerang and we had a chance to throw them. It was great fun watching them spin.
