ELC students attend a Culture Workshop as part of the Experience Victoria Program
Culture Workshop
The ELC student group attended a half day Cross-cultural Workshop on Thursday, 20th September at the Treasury Theatre. This workshop is part of the Experience Victoria Program, following three separate days’ excursions. All the participating students enjoyed the lecture and activities.
The workshop introduced aspects of all cultures, Cultural Intelligence and Impact of culture on communication. Our new students were inspired by the speakers. They deeply discussed the difference between foreign families and Australian families. In the last session of the workshop, students learnt about the aboriginal culture and experienced the aboriginal instrument.
More than 20 representatives of their homestay families participated in this workshop.
