Athletics Carnival

Results

After rain delays our 2021 Athletics Carnival was finally held on 27 April at the Warm Up Track, Sydney Olympic Park. It was a fantastic sunny day for all those who attended and competed in the events.  Many thanks to the staff who volunteered their time to help as the carnival was changed from a whole school event to a Stage 4 and competitor only carnival. 

Special mention must go to the record breakers:

 

Grace C - 17 years 1500m with a new time of 5.53.77

Luke R - 16 years Long Jump with a new distance of 6.02m

Cooper R - 15 years Long Jump with a new distance of 6.02m

Ned W - 17 years High Jump with a new height of 1.90m. This was then out-jumped by Michael G -  with a height of 1.92m.

The Zone Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday 16 June  (Term 2, Week 7). The team will be announced soon by Ms Wall. All the best for the Zone team as they prepare for this event.
