Sydenham Campus Principal Message

Term 4 

The end of the year activities were well represented with plenty of students viewing the advanced screening of Jumanji and attending Funfields. 

The step-up program allowed students to work with their new peers and start thinking about the subjects they will be involved in for 2020. This is always exciting time and the students let us know how optimistic they are feeling about next year.

The Year 10 Formal 

Sydenham students celebrated the end of their time at the Sydenham Campus dancing the night away at Lakeside Reception Center for the school formal. We know that all of the students will keep in touch and want them to know that they will be missed by everyone at Sydenham. 

Grounds and Buildings

A new teaching space is to be created. It will be close to the gym and will be ready for students from day 1 next year. 

Also our contractors have scheduled to begin work on our new locker locations and will be ready for students from the start of the school year. 

Renovations for our year 7 and 8  toilet facilities will commence early in 2020. 

 Work will commence on the new staff car park in January, 2020. This car park will include much needed staff car spaces and two buses will be able to move off the street for safer disembarkment of students.

Over the holidays we will develop two new locations that will be covered with shade sails and have artificial grass underfoot so students will have a new space to enjoy at break times.
