Emerging Sciences Victoria – John Monash Science School

This semester, a small group of Year 10s, including myself, have been attending an online Astrophysics class through The John Monash School of Science. This course has involved meeting together in the library twice a week for 50 minute lessons, where we have had the opportunity to interact with both our online teachers and fellow students from other Victorian schools. We learn through a live, virtual classroom where we can ask our teachers questions and chat with our peers. We have already learnt so much about our universe and the solar system, and this course has provided me with insight into how fascinating and mysterious our universe is.

A big thank you to Ms Rieniets, our liaison teacher, for making this incredible opportunity a reality for us. It is an experience that I am sure we will carry with us for a very long time!
