Jazz Night at Mentone RSL

The new venue for our annual 'Jazz Night' has proved to be a great success. When Dizzy's jazz club in Richmond closed we were in need of a new home. Tuesday night showed we had the perfect venue on our door step.

You could feel the good vibes. Not just hear them! The stage band, junior guitar ensemble, senior guitar ensemble and the Funkadelics raised the roof and brought the house down over two hours.

The musicians and vocalists moved and grooved the audience of supportive family, friends and staff.

This is a bitter sweet date in the music calendar as it’s the last time Year 12s perform with their school.

Congratulations to all involved - our students, our audience of supportive families, our music teachers and staff. Special thanks to Sue Cook for putting the night together and ensuring the jazz show went on.
