Kingston Libraries’ September school holiday program offers a range of free activities including craft, robotics, movie screenings, theatrical performances, sports stars and gaming, for ages 3 to 18. Bookings are essential for all events so please promote to your school community and encourage them to book early to avoid missing out. MGSC teacher, Ms Mel Erwin would like to spread the word about her upcoming performance with the Melbourne Indie Voices at the Forum on Sunday 27 October. The night will feature internationally-acclaimed secret special guests, full theatre sing-a-longs and cutting-edge vocal arrangements of the best new indie music by the best non-traditional choir in Melbourne! Celebrating the songs of Australian artists such as Courtney Barnett, Ball Park Music, Kira Puru, Ali Barter, Ainslie Wills, Jen Cloher, Husky and international artists Maggie Rogers, Aurora, Lorde, Feist and so much more. MIV has performed onstage with legendary Australian artists Paul Kelly, Paul Dempsey (Something For Kate), Jen Cloher, Ali Barter, Georgia Fields and Clare Bowditch.
