Arts and Technology Exhibition 2017

Last Tuesday evening saw the opening of our 2017 Arts and Technology Exhibition. The exhibition showcases the work by our talented students across all year levels and subjects within the Arts and Technology subjects. I am incredibly proud of our students and their efforts throughout the year and the exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this.

The evening was well attended by families and included performances by our Year 9 Dance students as well as movie screenings from our Media classes and animations by our Year 7 Arts students. Rochelle Peters and Oswald D’Silva as our newly appointed Creativity Captains did a wonderful job welcoming visitors and hosting the event. We were also very fortunate to welcome back to St John’s former student Sarah Lyons who is currently the Education and Audience Engagement Officer at Bunjil Place Gallery in Narre Warren. Sarah was our guest judge for the evening and selected artworks to receive prizes. Zart Art kindly donated over $250 worth of art materials.
