Learning in 3/4C!

WHAT A BUSY AND FUN START TO OUR YEAR IN 3/4C!

3/4C have had a fantastic and positive start to the new school year. We have been involved in many activities to get to know each other and have formed great bonds with one another. We love working with our peers whether in pairs, small groups or as a whole class. One of our favourite get to know you activities was doing the bioglyphs. We used different symbols to create a picture of ourselves. Each symbol had a particular meaning. We also wrote words around our bioglyphs that described ourselves.

LENTEN PROMISES

We are in the season of Lent. A time to prepare for Easter and to reflect on our lives and what we have. In 3/4C we have been exploring the 3 traditions of Lent (prayer, almsgiving and fasting). As a class we have a Lenten path that we are following with a focus each day. Some things that we have been focusing on are helping someone pack up, do a prayer of thanks, do an act of kindness, listen to others and include others in our games.  

Individually we came up with our own Lenten promises that also links with our schools theme this year ‘Light the Way’. We aim to light the way for others through our actions and words.
