Top agent's friendship trumps sporting rivalries
Ryan McCann (FN Cleveland, Qld) surprised his father-in-law and partner Jess with a trip to Sydney last weekend to watch the Canterbury Bulldogs play. They're both mad-keen Bulldogs supporters.
Naturally, he reached out to another keen Bulldogs supporter who kindly arranged tickets - Michael Sleiman of FN Daystar (Revesby, NSW).
As a committed Broncos supporter, Ryan couldn't quite bring himself to don Bulldogs gear but he did slip on his First National blue and white polo and a FINA cap - to avoid being pelted with Kebabs!
That's how our fabric transcends sporting rivalry.
FN Burwood opens
It’s congratulations to Peter Cheng and Fio Gao on the opening of their new office in Burwood, Victoria.
BGM James Bateman and COO Ed Atkinson attended the opening festivities to welcome Peter and Fio’s team to the network.

FN Candappa (Drouin, Vic) has thanked sales agent, Braeden Robbins for his outstanding achievements over the years and provided him with a new company car, although we’re not sure if this one has Farrah Fawcett in the back seat.
Talking all things digital
Digital Marketing Services Executive and WA native, Andrew Dodemaide, has been touring Western Australian offices with BGM, Debbie Fletcher, after helping out with the WA GEM Awards. Accompanying him is REA’s Connect Growth Specialist, Josh Wilson, who is detailing the advantages of First National’s ground-breaking deal with Connect – the end-to-end digital prospecting product.
All-Round Champions
FN King & Heath (Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Metung, Paynesville, Vic) has been a stalwart of the Gippsland District’s real estate scene for over a century.
As part of its ‘Throwback Thursday’ series, the office has been sharing some historic images. Here we see the very first iteration of the First National brand at the Paynesville office on the Esplanade.
Recently, King & Heath’s team were winners in the local Corporate Bowls Bronze Section and we also share an image of the agency’s services van.

When Chief Executive Ray Ellis was in Western Australia for the GEM Awards recently, he took the opportunity to introduce himself to FN O’Dowd (Maida Vale, WA) principal, Rachael O’Dowd.
Farewell Robyn
Friends and colleagues of FN Inverell (NSW) principal, Robyn Fox, gathered to say farewell and thank you, after the sale of Robyn’s business in late 2022. Robyn was a member of the network from 2010 and we wish her the best of luck for the future.
