Devotion, Prayer Families & Birthdays

DEVOTION

It was such a joy to see the students across the school celebrate Harmony Day by wearing orange or their cultural dress and participating in multi-age activities. We began the day with Worship, led by 3B and Miss Binns.

Christian and Dhruv read to us from 1 Corinthians 12, which uses the analogy of a body to explain how people are all important. Just as the hand can’t say to the foot, ‘I don’t need you!’, we are each an important part of the body of Christ and we are all unique and loved.

Daniel and Jensen tried to complete a tricky puzzle, and realised it was impossible if a piece was missing! Isaac reminded us that in a puzzle, every piece is important, and every piece is different. If they were all the same, they wouldn’t make a beautiful puzzle.

On Harmony Day we remember that we are all different and this is what makes us special. Together we create a beautiful picture of God’s family.
