Extension of Contract – Mr. David Keenan
I am pleased to inform you that Mr. David Keenan, Principal has been successfully reappointed to lead St. Luke’s Primary School for another term after undergoing a rigorous Summative Appraisal process towards the end of 2022.
Under David’s leadership, it was identified that St. Luke’s has achieved significant progress in improving learning outcomes for all children and significant capital works around the school. We are excited for David and the school community to continue this positive momentum.
David is a dedicated leader who has shown unwavering commitment to ensuring that St. Luke’s provides a supportive and enriching learning environment for all students.
Please join me in congratulating David on his reappointment and let us continue to work together to support St. Luke’s and its mission.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Bissinella Principal Consultant – Goulburn Valley Deanery
I am very excited about the next period of the journey for St. Luke's. At our recent Advisory Council meeting we discussed our goals for the near future. These will be communicated and reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Principal Professional Leave Program
I will be on leave for Term 2, 2023. This program is an established practice within Catholic Education Victoria through an inter diocesan Principal Professional Renewal Program (Primary). Catholic Education Sandhurst strongly endorses the process of Professional Learning for Primary Principals.
The Primary Principal Professional Learning Program is intentional in enhancing and affirming Principals in their leadership roles through providing opportunity for reflection and renewal towards the completion of eight years of service as Principal in Catholic Education. I have been a Principal since 2012, my 8th year at St. Luke's. Primary Principals are encouraged to continue their leadership formation and development through the program by engaging in recognised professional learning that is intellectually and /or spiritually rigorous. I will be working with external professionals outside of education, other principals and CES staff regarding the marketing of Catholic School Education through the lens of St. Luke's Catholic Primary School. Throughout this journey I will be working from home and away at times. I am very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to using this experience to better myself and pursue the goals of our school.
Tony McDonald will be acting Principal for Term 2. We are confirming the arrangements for Acting DP at the moment.
