As part of our numeracy learning, students learnt to investigate and create number patterns. To make this learning hands-on and fun, students built ‘Goldilocks’ chair‘ using unifix cubes. They started by planning in a small groups which helped their social development and communictaion skills. They also tried to understand the growing pattern rule by adding and making the chair bigger and bigger. This team activity energised the classroom and took learning to a new level.
