The Grade 6 leaders continue their fundraising efforts for Caritas - Project Compassion with the following events:
They will be selling freshly laid chooks for $7 per dozen as they have learnt that from Priscilla's story that for $7 a family in Zimbabwe can buy a chook to sell their own eggs and make money. We will advertise on Facebook when eggs are available for purchase.
Congratulations to the following students who won our colouring in competition:
Foundation: Lottie Asquith
Grade 1/2: Oonagh Mulcahy
Grade 3/4: Colt Tyrrell
Grade 5/6 & Staff: Mrs Stockdale
We raised $21 from this fundraising event.
Students will be invited to bring donations of coins to create a coin line that will create a message or symbol.
Students will be educated about the importance of water in every community. They will try to help everyone realise that running water is something we all take for granted at times. Our student leaders will challenge our school to utilise strategies to ensure they are using water wisely.
*There are Project Compassion boxes in each classroom. Donations can be made at any time.
Our Holy Week prayer reflection will be held on the last day of Term 1, Thursday 6th April at 9am in St Patrick's Church. Every class will have a role. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend.
