Harmony Day

On Monday, March 20th we will be celebrating Harmony Day.  Harmony Day is a day to celebrate what makes us special, recognise diversity and bring together Australians from all different backgrounds.

Each class will organise two activities to run in their classrooms, these activities will be things such as a dance party, choc toss, guess the lollies in the jar, an escape room, and more!

This year the SRC will also be having a second hand book sale. We will be relying on donations from teachers and families so if you have any books that you no longer read or any books that you were going to send to the opp shop, we ask that you please donate them to school. If you could give them to either the class SRC or your teacher that would be great.

This year we will also be holding a whole school talent show! The talent show will run at the end of the day and you can enter as many times as you like with as many people as you like. Some ideas for a act are a magic show, a dance or a comedy act. Whatever your talent is is what you can do! :)

We would also like to mention that the money we raise for Harmony Day isn't going to caritas like it usually does. This year we have decided that it will go to a foundation that helps people in Ukraine and the Ukrainian refugees.
