PFA NEWSLETTER

No. 1:  February 22, 2023

Hello and welcome to our very first Parents and Friends Association (PFA) update.

We held our first General Meeting on Tuesday, February 14 @ 7 pm. The following people were nominated and appointed as office bearers.

Secretary:                Vicky Bouranis    

Treasurer:                Andrew Robbins

We aim to create an inclusive committee to unite the community while raising funds for the school and selected charities. So far, we have had a positive response from our community. We are excited to watch this space grow. If you would like to join the committee, please complete the registration form below and email it to pfa@ms.brentwood.com.au. Once you are registered you will have access to our PFA Teams folder and will also be added to our WhatsApp thread. 

Here is a list of events that we are working on:

• MARCH 17: Outdoor Movie Night and Picnic
• MARCH 29: Music Twilight Concert – PFA BBQ
• MAY 2023: Chocolate Fundraiser

The Outdoor Movie Night is a high priority on our list as we are busy working in the background to fine-tune entertainment, food, and snacks. We are looking for anyone that can help us find sponsors for the night. Funds raised for this event will go towards purchasing much-needed instruments for our music department. If you are free to assist on the night, please email us at pfa@ms.brentwood.vic.edu.au. You do not need to be registered on the committee to help. All are welcome!

Our meetings will run on a Tuesday night at 7 pm. The next PFA meeting will be held Tuesday, March 7 @ 7 pm. All are welcome to attend.
