All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
Good afternoon families,
What a beautiful afternoon for our welcome picnic. It was wonderful to see so many families on the oval enjoy our school facilities, the weather and creating a great feeling of community. A huge thank you to the PFA on organising the picnic and to our Year 6 students for creating and running stalls, games and a large variety of other activities.
Two school closure days at the end of this term: Wed 5/4 and Thurs 6/4
MACS school are entitled to 4 days a year for Professional Learning and one extra day for moving into a new building if required.
On Wednesday 5 April the teaching staff have a professional learning on Religious Education reporting and assessment. The Administration staff, the leadership and the Learning Support Officers will start the move into the new Administration building.
Thursday 6 April all staff will help with the moving of the Administration and classrooms into Rooms 1,2 and 3.
Help in the garden
Thank you to the families who have responded to the call for help in our garden, over weekends and holidays. If you are still interested in helping please contact the school office.
Working Bee Saturday 18 March 8 am - 12 pm
We are inviting all St Louis' families to our first working bee on Saturday 18 March.
A sausage sizzle will be held during the working bee, just to help to keep you going.
A lists of jobs will be sent out later in the term.
Canteen
The canteen will be serving lunches at 11.15 am. The canteen will not be open for afternoon recess. Children will need to purchase their afternoon snacks at the lunch break or order it in their lunch order.
