From the office

As many of you know, this year we are using XUNO for recording attendance, organising parent teacher interviews, communicating events, completing forms, updating medical and personal information, paying excursion / camp fees, school reports and general communication between staff and families.

I have attached some guides for families to set up and familiarise themselves with the app.  Parents/carers are able to use the app to notify us of non-attendance and can also do this for future days, such as family holiday dates or future medical appointments.

I can see that many of you have already noticed that I have put some forms in the Events section of XUNO for all families to complete. If you have not already, could you please have a look in this section of your XUNO and complete these forms for us as soon as possible?

As mentioned, staff will use XUNO for communication with their class' families.  If you are communicating regarding attendance, we ask that you use the attendance feature in your app to record this, rather than messaging the classroom teacher directly.  If staff are absent due to illness, leave or professional development, this ensures that office staff receive the message and are able to update our system.  Please note that staff are not required or encouraged to reply to messages outside of their normal working hours / days.

Feedback from our current families is that it is easier to initially set up your username and password via a computer.  XUNO usernames and passwords are case sensitive and will need to have all the required amount of letters, capitals, symbols etc, so please ensure that you read those instructions.

As always, I encourage you to contact me if you require any assistance with setting up your account or navigating the app.

I have sent out welcome letters to our new families, but please let me know if you need me to do this again.

Kind regards,

Donna
