Congratulations to our week one Students of the Week.

Year 6 Camp Reflections

Charlie F- Camp this year was very exciting, one of my favourite activities at camp was stand up paddle boarding. At the start of stand up paddle boarding we had to go get the paddle boards and bring them on to the beach, the presenter then taught us how to paddle. We got to pick if we do it with a partner or by ourselves. At the start some people fell but eventually people got the hang of it. Camp was a great experience and I would like to do it again.

Sherise B- This year's camp was awesome! The Giant swing was my favourite. The swing was 15 metres high. Looking up it made me shiver. We had to each put on a harness  and clip on to the rope that were hanging from the two green poles. Everyone had to pull the person on the swing up. Once they were at the top, the person at the top then had to pull a string and it would drop them! But, don’t worry we were still connected to the harness! It was so fun.

Liam B- Camp this year was very fun, we got to do lots of activities and do things we haven't done before. On the day that we arrived my group went for a bike ride. When we set off it was really fun, but not long after Mrs De Leo’s bike had a few problems. When we started to make our way back Mrs De Leo’s bike broke. Luckily there were two lovely people walking by. They stopped to see what was wrong and thankfully they knew how to fix bikes. It took half an hour to mend the bike so that we could make our way back to the park and have afternoon tea. I think camp was amazing and I wish I could do it again.

Sienna D- This year’s Camp was so much fun!  When we got to our Camp, we saw a Massive Pool. We were all super excited to head into the pool, but before we got in we had to check out our awesome cabins! When we all got into our cabins we saw that we had our own bathroom! I was super happy. In the cabins there were 2 single beds and then the rest were bunk beds. I got 1 of the single beds. After checking out our cabins, and unpacking we got to head into the pool!! I jumped into the pool with a few friends and we all did cannon balls. After we all got into the pool we decided to look and see lots of clear blue things, and barely no leaves at all! The pool was also nice and warm. It was really relaxing to be in a pool once in a while. I had so much fun, and I will always keep this year's camp as a big memory.
