It’s all about the Dads this Saturday so bring the whole family and your friends down to Brighton Grammar School’s Crowther Oval to support our footy heroes.  

The Siren will blow at 1.30 for the start of the  clash of the titans as the Brighton Lions take on the Brighton Beach Dreamers for the coveted Community cup.  St Kilda FC will be there with their inflatables for the kids - the climb and slide, the over & under and the handball targets - all FREE.  There will also be a sausage sizzle, cake stall and refreshments for all to enjoy.  Even it it rains you can claim your spot on the balcony overlooking the oval.  See you there.

Father’s Day Stall - Thursday 1 Sept 

Hydie is delivering some fantastic gifts for our dads and loved ones.  Don’t forget to hop on QKR and pay the $13 for your child’s token before Wednesday 31 August to save them from being disappointed.  The kids love choosing a gift for their family. 

Lapathon - Thursday 8 September. 

Get your trainers and active gear on this weekend and start training with your kids for the Lapathon.  This is a great way for the kids to do their bit for the school and raise funds towards the new playgrounds project.  The House with the most laps run will win the Lapathon Cup - currently held by Apollo - and the class in each year level that ran the most laps will get a free pizza lunch on Wednesday 14 September.  Parents, come on down to cheer on your children - we will publish the schedule next week so you know when they are on.

SAVE THE DATE - Parents Event at Encore St Kilda - Friday 14 October. 

We went down to the venue last week to sort out some details and blimey this is going to be a great night out.  Encore is pulling out all the stops for us and not only do we have a beautiful inside venue space but we also have the full outside deck - with heaters - overlooking the bay.  We picked the menu, and let me tell you, no need to eat dinner beforehand or chase waiters around the dance floor to get your next canape in.  Plenty for all.  More details to follow on this but get your group of parents, friends and family together, book the babysitter and join us for a memorable night out.
