Lion Guards the Cake by Ruth Paul is a beautiful and humorous read.
At times it is predicatable and there are some surprises too.
This is a fun and entertaining read for all.
Little by little, the cake slowly disappears with a swish, a scrape and a pawful too!

You will love this book for the play of words, the bold pictures and the mischief the animals create.
Oh and the cake looks exceptionally good too!

Prep to Year 2
- Number of books: 30
- Number of books from the Challenge book list: 20 or more
- Students in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 can read books by themselves or with someone else.
Year 3 to Year 6
- Number of books: 15
- Number of books from the Challenge book list: 10 or more
