Mock Criminal Trial

Ms. Lochery’s Legal Studies classes put their Unit 1 'Key Knowledge and Skills' into practice during a mock criminal trial! The task required students to research an area of criminal law and play the role of either a court reporter, solicitor, witness, the accused, court artist, jury member or clerk.

The students put in a lot of effort and demonstrated great enthusiasm to follow court procedures and uphold the principles of justice – Fairness, Equality and Access. 

Ms. Lochery played the role of Judge in both cases and was impressed with the excellent participation of all students.
