Lego Club Begins....

Lego Club for the Prep to Year 2 children began on Tuesday at lunchtime with the support from Kristy, Anamika's mum. There were many options of Lego to choose from to create with. The children who attended this special opportunity in the Community Centre had such fun! This Club will be on each Tuesday at lunchtime.

Thanks Kristy and Anamika's helpful brother, Tahj

Hello people of Planet Earth!

Here are two of the Wellbeing leaders at OLHC reporting to you about ‘Pets of the Homeless’.

As you might know, ‘Pets of the Homeless’ is an organisation that helps people, much less fortunate than us, look after their pets. This organisation might help the homeless people afford vet treatment, food or other pet necessities. We have decided to do something really fun to raise money for this organisation.

To start off, we are inviting you to bring a picture of your pet and we’ll put it on the wall in the hallway near the teachers’ staffroom or in the windows of the Junior school, for everyone to see as they walk past.

You might now be wondering, “How is this a way to raise money for Pets of the Homeless?” Well for each photo you contribute, we also would like a donation of money. We won’t tell you how much you have to donate but please be generous! Think about the poor animals before you just donate a ‘measly’ 5c coin. We will keep you updated weekly on this organisation and our plans.

Thank you for reading!
