Tuck Shop/Canteen

Last Tuesday July 19, I wrote to families to share the news of My Mum and I operating our Friday lunchtime service.  I have included an introductory letter from Madelene Martin, the owner of My Mum and I in the Lunch Order News section of this newsletter.  We will start this service from next Friday, August 5th.  This week will be the last week of Wednesday and Friday lunch orders through the CDF Pay option.  From next week there will be lunch orders on Friday only and they will be all pre-ordered via the link provided, which can be found under the CDF Pay link on the Quick Links option on our website.

We will still be running recess Tuck Shop options on Wednesday and Friday.  This will be both over the counter sales (cash) or via the usual CDF Pay link if you’d like to pre-pay and save children having to carry cash.  Please note the typical lunch options will be removed and there will be a menu to reflect what is appropriate for a recess snack, so many of the usual favourites will remain.  I am grateful to our PFOL for organising some volunteers to run this service.

I know you will make Madelene and Nerissa from her team feel welcome to our school community and we are looking forward to a lengthy and rewarding partnership with them.

You can help promote our school profile by writing a short positive review via Google Reviews.  We know that many of you have wonderful things to say about our school, so why not share that via Google Review.  It certainly helps prospective families have confidence to make contact with us for a tour or discussion about enrolment.  Most current reviews are dated so some new comments would be appreciated.  

Likewise, thanks to those who have started liking and sharing stories from our social media.  It is a great way to stay up to date and helps promote our school.

Italian Awards

In our last newsletter Signora Chesterman shared information about the Italian Awards and mentioned the award winners would be presented at our next assembly.  Congratulations to the following students:
