TOKONAME ONLINE STUDENT EXCHANGE

A very exciting start to Term 3 in the lead up to our Tokoname Online Exchange; our friendly sister school in Tokoname, Japan, sent us two pairs of shiisaa シーサー creatures to keep safe from bad fortune.

On Wednesday, our Year 11 Japanese language students participated in a language exchange with our sister school in Japan - Tokoname High School. 

The students had so much fun as they joined the students from Japan on Teams and discussing all sorts of topics in Japanese. 

Our students were able to experience real-life application of what they were learning in class and test out their skills to communicate with our sister school Japanese students. 

It was great to see their confidence build in speaking! All in all, lots of fun was had, as well as a few new friends made.
