Fractions Work in TD 

A little to the left! Now a bit back to the right!

Unit TD have been locating fractions on number lines as part of their ongoing fractions work in Maths.

As was discovered today, the kids have become quite particular about where certain fractions belong on a number line. This was demonstrated with their insistence that their teacher model "centimeter perfect" number lines on the whiteboard!

Constructing their own number lines has also been useful for TD students as another means of recognising equivalent fractions, with many starting to see the connection through their own visual representations.
