Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club

Thanks to the absolute superstar mums and dads, we have finally been able to move our Breakfast Club indoors and out of the weather. Our volunteers have been working hard to set up a process for running the program indoors. Whilst our main priority is to feed hungry children and support the best outcomes for all learners, we are now using reusable bowls and spoons and are trying very hard to limit the rubbish going to landfill and making an effort to be more sustainable.

The program does however, need some more volunteers. If we are to continue to operate indoors, and out of the weather, we require a few extra people per day to assist with set up, serving, washing up, and packing away. If you think you might be able to come by on a Tuesday or Thursday morning (even for a short period of time) please email Ayla Collins (ayla.collins@education.vic.gov.au)

Hot Lunches

With our Foodbank Sponsorship, we are also able to provide lunches to the students in need. This term we have introduced a few hot lunch options including a range of soups, spaghetti, baked beans as well as the tuna and rice bowls and lentil salads. The feedback so far has been amazing and it is wonderful to be able to provide a nutritious lunch.

Thank You Sponsors!

We are very lucky to have the support of the community and have received numerous donations from Officeworks Narre Warren as well as Woolworths. On behalf of Langwarrin Primary, we would like to thank these businesses for their ongoing support to our Breakfast Club.
