Teaching & Learning 4M

In 4M we are continuing to become independent and creative learners. Everyone is trying their best and are all helping each other to make sure our class is a safe and happy place. We have been busy learning about persuasive writing, understanding number patterns and developing different reading strategies.

Here are two of our recent highlights:

Balloon Experiment

We have been busy learning about lots of new and exciting things. A science lesson that was a crowd favourite was the Balloon Experiment. The students learnt about friction and how they can create static electricity by rubbing a balloon onto their hair.

Year 4 Camp

An exciting event that took place last week was Year 4 camp. We were lucky enough to spend three days at Golden Valley Lodge. Since this was our first camp, we were quite nervous when we got onto the bus. However, over the course of the three days, we were able to soar on the flying fox, launch some arrows during archery and complete an obstacle course.

It was also a great experience as we were able to get to know the students from the other Year 4 classes and made memories that will last a life time!
