Eco Warriors - call for bread tags

From Sonia, Auslan Interpreter and member of the NMPS Sustainability Community of Practice and part of the Eco Warrior Club.  

Our Eco Warrior Club is implementing a few initiatives over the coming weeks.

The first task is to collect bread tags to be recycled into Wheelchairs. 

There will be a marked container in the front office for everyone to add their bread tags to, as well as one in Biz E Kidz.

The Sustainability Community of Practice is a team of staff lead by NMPS teacher, Cat Coley to help build initiatives for the school to become a resource smart/eco-friendly environment. The initiatives we introduce are then acted upon by our school's Eco Warriors, a group of students from across the whole school that volunteers their time during recess and lunch playtimes to meet and discuss the initiatives. This group also organising recycling, empties compost bins and many other activities across the school.
