Spotlight on Year 1 and 2
In Year 1/2 we have been tuning into our new Inquiry topic Place.
Our big question is:
How and why are people connected to Family, Church, Community and their place in the world?
Other focus questions that we will be researching and discussing are:
History
What is my personal and family history?
How has family life changed or remained the same over time?
What remains of the past are important to the local community? Why?
How have changes in technology shaped our daily life?
Geography
What are places like?
How and why are people connected to their place and other places?
What makes a place special?
How can we care for places?
We have had lots of fun exploring places using Google Earth.
