What a busy week we have had!

Maths Night

We would like to give a very big ‘Thank You’ to all of the families that were able to support our Maths Night last night. It was lovely to see and hear our students sharing their enthusiasm and thinking, whilst playing the various maths games.

Grandparents and Family Sharing Sessions

Last Friday, we also opened our classroom to both grandparents and family members, to share some of our amazing work. We were very impressed with the confidence shown by our students as they shared their Connecting Countries projects, as well as a variety of information texts, poetry, narratives and ‘Angles Artwork’.

Thursday Activities

Thursday activities started last week at Carlsruhe, and will continue until week 8 of Term 4.

If you are able to help with any activities, please let the Carlsruhe teachers know and make sure the office has a copy of your current Working With Children’s Check.

As part of the woodwork activity, students are making some  cute wooden ‘Christmas Reindeer’ and ‘Friendship Bracelets’, which will be sold at the Carlsruhe Fair.

CU1 have also been busy using their imagination to create a variety of ‘Corner Bookmarks’, which will also be sold at the Carlsruhe Fair.

Below are just a sample of our creations.

Year 4, Phillip Island Camp

Our camp to Phillip Island Camp details went out last week. If you are interested in coming along to support us, as one of the 5 parent helpers, please let Mrs Ireland know by the end of this week.
