Year 8 Tennis
BEACHSIDE TENNIS BOYS & GIRLS A & B TEAMS
Tennis started off very well for the boy’s team, and it did not drop off much from there. In the first game we did not lose one game, we actually won 56 – 8 points overall, and while others were closer, we held everyone off and have now made it through to the next round. The A team consisted of Josh Baldsing, Max Reaburn, Joseph Flood, Connor Tasci and Ollie Pearce, I think we all played well, as a team and individually and we really deserved to win. Oliver Pearce
The tennis was a great experience for me and my friends. We competed well and won over all for the B’s. We all played fairly and there were no arguments between us. It was great that we could play tennis but also have a great time hanging with our friends. I am looking forward to playing again next year!

On the 15th of March, our school participated in a number of sports for the division round robins. I, along with many others, got to represent the school in tennis which was really exciting. On the day we had 2 girls and 2 boys teams which did really well and cheered on each other throughout the process. On the day it was really sunny and warm which gave us a lot of enthusiasm to play. It was amazing hearing everyone cheer for each other and we even had some parents come along and watch. We had fun playing tennis and came across a lot of challenges. Neither of the girl’s teams made it to the next round but managed to get to the finals, which took a lot of hard work and determination.
