Lenten Prayer 

Loving God, 

I hear your invitation, "Come back to me" 

and I am filled with such a longing to return to you. 

Show me the way to return. 

Lead me this day in good works I do in your name 

and send your Spirit to guide me and strengthen my faith. 

I ask only to feel your love in my life today.

Sacrament of Penance

This week we celebrated the receiving of the Sacrament of Penance for children at school. We had a wonderful liturgy attended by families and friends of each child, with Father John-Paul leading us through prayer, supported by our Parish Priest Father Albert and assisted by Father Anil and Father Anthony. Please continue to pray for these children. 

                   Sacrament of the Eucharist

A reminder to families in Year Four-Six that we now begin to focus on our next Sacrament celebration. We will celebrated on Sunday, June 2nd with a liturgy at St. Andrew's Church commencing at 1.00pm.

Notes have gone home this week to children involved in the sacramental program. If you did not receive a note and believe your child is part of the program, please email Paul at school - pmcdowell@olscwyn.catholic.edu.au

Social Justice Leaders Update

Thank you for continuing to support our Feast or Famine project each week. Hopefully some of your children have come home and shared their excitement of getting a rice or hot chip lunch, which is drawn every Friday throughout Lent. Funds will assist Caritas in their work.  We will share what we have raised in next week's newsletter.

Each Learning group and the office have a Project Compassion box for small donations that will also be donated. Please assist with any loose change - all contributions are much appreciated.
