South East Melbourne SRC Conference:

Recently, twelve leaders from Year 7-9 attended  the South East Melbourne SRC Conference at Emerald Secondary College.

This conference was run by Vic SRC, an organisation dedicated to supporting students and staff to develop student leadership within their schools and to equip students with the skills they need to give students a meaningful voice. During the conference, our students worked with students from other schools to workshop ideas, problem solve and to consider strategies to help them consider the needs of the student body when contributing to school-wide decisions.

Although they were the youngest students at the conference, HHS students made confident and intelligent contributions to the activities they were part of. They represented the school beautifully! Thank-you to Kerry Davies for driving the bus!
