December 2020
It has been an absolute pleasure to work with students across all campuses this year and they have been very productive and involved when we have had the opportunity to work together on site.
I want to share the processes of making cars using STEM techniques and how the Year 6 students showed their construction and imaginative skills. I trust you will enjoy the short videos.
I look forward to working with new and continuing students in 2021!
Happy Holidays and New Year to all.
The First of the program participants met recently and had this great picture taken to celebrate with their future mentors from Victoria Police.
The program starts early in first term
Hi Everyone
It has been terrific to have everyone back on track in physical education, sport and of course SEED.
We are really looking forward to 2021 to have healthy competition back in our sports and athletics and swimming.
This term has been so good to have students working together again at all levels with SEED 7 and 8, 9 and 10 in operation. During STEP UP we have also commenced our Certificate program which caters for students post SEED Year 10. There are many plans for further enriching the pathways for students in 2021 that I can't wait to share with you.
It has been an honour to see our Year 12 students who have given myself and Mr Lowery such great dedication over the past years and we will certainly miss their leadership. However, we know that many new leaders will take their place in our program. With the addition of 3 new faces for 2021 in Jay, Roqya and Elmin we now have 8 SEED scholarship recipients and look forward to working with them and their peers.
Enough words from me. Have a wonderful holiday period. Keep fit, keep active, keep healthy and keep safe!

It has been a most unusual term for performing arts and we have suffered more than any other part of the curriculum with regulations preventing singing, using instruments and dance without masks. However like all change we have a new found hope to get back and achieve great things in 2021.
Throughout the year I have shared the dreams and frustrations of the children who had enrolled to perform in the State School Spectacular 2020. On again off again - was ultimately a virtual performance that many of you, I hope, watched on TV. It showed a couple of times and is on 7PLus.
Here are some of the screen shots we saw featuring our students.
The exciting news is that the 2021 show will also be Virtual performance but this time highly professional from the beginning. They don't want to disappoint students again and have taken the move to consider that 2021 may still be in doubt for large gatherings and will operate a highly professional experience for students which will see better filming and staggered visits to Melbourne to have the stage experiences in smaller groups. Stay tuned for more news in 2021.
I love Christmas and one of my greatest joys is working with performance groups on Christmas carols and singing in the community. For those who also love this time of year for the same reason, lets hope for good health and happiness in 2021
I look forward to the Term One program and am busy working out some tremendous activities for everyone.
Merry Christmas everyone
