Supporting Physical Literacy during lunch & recess

What is Physical Literacy? Physical literacy is about building the skills, knowledge and behaviors that give us the confidence and motivation to lead active lives.

Monday and Tuesday's at recess time we have been facilitating Foundation to Level 2 activities (activations) which support the students sensory motor development and coordination. Wednesday's have has seen our House Captains drive the preparation towards Inter-school Sport. Thursday's have had Cricket training for our 5/6s as well as Basketball training across various days with Mr. Ly.

Cricket  Australia content development and filming

We were blessed to have Cricket Australia choose us as the one school in Australia to film their new content for their skill related activities and games. Cricket Australia will  be back out again in Term 1 to film our P.E. program with teacher coaching and for their new Indigenous Games that will go out across the nation. Well done to our students who have thus far experienced this opportunity to kick off your acting careers as well as getting out to move your bodies through cricket related games. We thank Sean de Morton and his team at Cricket Australia for their incredible support.
