Welcome back to 2021. It’s great to see all the smiling faces bouncing into the Loft Room every morning. It was lovely hearing all about the children’s holidays and we are really excited to get to know all them, especially those who are new to the Loft Room.
The children have been courageously exploring the values of care, respect and community. They have shared their ideas and recorded them on posters, whilst working towards and collectively building our shared Essential Agreement.
The children have been exploring their shared interests, having conversations and getting to know each other. Through drama, we created scenes to become Preshil by enacting trees in the Pines, the Loft Room, Amir and Amir’s dog, Charlie, teachers and other objects. We have been playing drama games where we created scenes to represent different ways we show care and respect. During Choosing the children have been playing creatively, reading, writing, exploring maths games and of course having fun!
It was great to have Michelle Burner back taking whole school singing where we learned to sing Lean on Me by Bill Withers.
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the parents for their kind words over these two weeks. It really means a lot!
