New Coworkers

Meet our new team members

One of the unexpected consequences of working from home has been the strengthening of relationships between our staff and their new coworkers.  We thought it time to introduce some of them to you:

Meet Count Olaf who has been assisting Mrs Gashck with Year 7 English assessment.  The Count must have good numeracy skills given his name, but his literacy skills are clearly up to scratch as well.

Tim the turtle is clearly a designers dream but he must distract Miss Rumble give how active he is.

Ms Katz's working from home boss is Leyla. She means business and is making sure Ms Katz is up and ready for remote learning each morning by scratching at the door and meowing loudly! As part of Ms Katz's work duties she needs to bring Boss Leyla food multiple times a day. Leyla makes sure Ms Katz is doing her work by regularly appearing in online sessions and walking over the laptop keys as appropriate. This is one boss you don't want to mess with!

Ms Chamberlain is working with Hugo.  He’s a very pretty, but somewhat needy coworker (even more so than my human counterparts), and doesn’t understand the concept of personal space. He’s loving having me home more and enjoys interrupting video meetings with his cuteness. His brother, Floyd, rarely joins in; he’d much rather be snuggled under a blanket somewhere keeping warm.

Many of you have met Ms Ford's coworker Arj Barker, from when he did a stint of work experience in term 4 last year.  He is progressing nicely as a co-worker, but is not so keen on cleaning up after his creativity sessions.

This is Ms Sanderson's Perla.  Seems she is not the sort of coworker you would want to have, she doesn't move far from this position.

Miss Robertson works with Harley.  He looks like a hard taskmaster.

Ming and Blue are at Ms Tate's house checking out the daily work schedule.  Perhaps we should be setting up a play date with Matilda.

Gayle tells us that working with Saphire is a nightmare.  She does not understand the concept of a hard days work, but is helping Gayle with regular breaks to through the ball.

Ms Haggar doesn't really have a coworkers, in her house it is more like and additional class.  Meet Rueben, Nayla and Clyde.

Miss Rouse in the music office has clearly been asked to take a break by her coworker Neo, who has made himself at home in her in tray.  Nice that he looks after her so well.

Wow, Mr Van Bergen has a cast of thousands helping him to work from home.  Probably important with a little one as well.

In case you are wondering where Matilda is this term, she is living with Mr Kos and making sure he is on task and working hard.  She is boarding with Ruby and Rocko.

Mr Barter is somewhat lonely working at home and has adopted Lucky the housebound cat.  I wonder what they talk about during the day and last, but not least meet Zoe and Maggie.

These two have dual work task, keeping Mrs Bayley working hard and ensuring Year 11 Ben is hard at work on his remote work placement.

Taffy has a clear career pathway as a couch sitter.  Clearly her coworker Mr Newnham has counselled her well.

We hope you have enjoyed seeing our coworkers hard at work.  Next week we would love to see your study buddies.  If you wish to be included email a photo of your study buddy hard at work with both yours and  their name and a sentence about the two of you to
