VISIT TO THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF VICTORIA - TERRACOTTA WARRIORS & CHINESE ART DISPLAY

In Term 3, some of the Year 7/8 classes went to visit the National Gallery of Victoria to see the Terracotta Warriors and the Chinese Art display by Cai Guo-Qiang. We did two sections there: Introductory Talk and Exhibition Entry. In a dual presentation of Chinese art and culture past and present, the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces series at the National Gallery of Victoria presents China’s ancient terracotta warriors alongside an exhibition of new works by one of the world’s most exciting contemporary artists, Cai Guo-Qiang. This exhibition provides a great opportunity for our students to achieve more knowledge about Chinese history and culture, while they are learning Chinese language.

HEADSPACE - MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING IN ADOLESCENCE - PARENT & CARER INFORMATION SESSION
