Interschool Intermediate Volleyball Girls

On the 25th February the Cheltenham Girls played some fantastic volleyball, resulting in only just missing out on progression by coming second in our pool. We lost our first game to Elwood by one point after the bell; we beat Mentone, Yavneh and Glen Eira all in 2 straight sets; unfortunately we also lost to MacRob, who were a very strong team.

Player of the day was Jana Litong her amazing serves and ball control. Lauranette Robertson, Taylah Reed and Georgina Throssell showed great consistent skills throughout the day. Way to go to Natalie Vlahos, Annaliese Jeffery, Razan Alfakhouri and Reachell Hernandez who improved with every match. I was proud of the girls who displayed such amazing sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly had fun.
