Middle School Report

It’s been a fast start to Term 3 in the Middle School with a lot happening for Year 9 and 10 students.

Our Year 10 students have been busy completing their course counselling projects in preparation for the VCE/VCAL information evening, which was on Tuesday, 31 July and also their course counselling day on Thursday, 2 August. Our Careers team, as always, put in a huge amount of time and effort into ensuring each individual student selects the right subjects for their future pathways. Every student involved in this process can be confident that they have made the right decisions for their future.

Our Year 9’s are also involved in the course counselling process, spending time completing their research projects and beginning to identify possible future pathways. They will have their own course counselling day on Tuesday, 7 August.

We have had some great success on the sporting field as well. Our intermediate boys Rugby team has successfully made it into the State Finals, a huge effort from all the boys involved and we will be cheering them on when they take on the best in state.

This week we have been having a lateness blitz! With some high levels of lateness in the first two weeks of Term 3 it was time to remind everybody about the importance of being on time and ready to learn. It has been a great success and a very good response from everyone involved.

The Middle School is looking forward to an exciting and eventful Term 3.
